Hubby, the puppers, and I headed out on another Sunday walk today to our town's plaza. Almost every Spanish town has a plaza mayor, which is like their center of town. It is a common meeting area and many town events take place there. This week is the start of Fiesta Week in which the town celebrates the...well...town. There are nightly events, daily parades, a fair, etc. The parades are made up of peñas, clubs or groups that gather together, hang out, or play a sport together. One of the peñas we observed today "exited" the plaza playing, Fraggle Rock...in Spanish...it brought smiles to faces.
