Back on September 20, 2009, I pointed out that gay men often seem to marry other men who look like them, and speculated if there wasn't some sort of deep narcissism at work.
Three more years of looking at the NY Times Wedding section has not disabused me of that notion. Today's Times featured the following couple, John Pariseau, 64, and Dario Sacramone, Jr, 73:
No one would ever mistake these two for twins, but they have very similar noses, mouths, and cheeks. They have different eyes and eyebrows, but the similarities are more striking than the differences.
The phrase "Opposites attract" evidently applies mostly to heteros.
